Clue Scrolls

Introduction

Clue scrolls are a special challenges in MineScape. You may be given maps, people to find, or more.

Map clues require a Spade. Upon finding the correct area, right click, with the spade selected in your bar, and you should receive the rewards, or a new clue.

Map clues generally have a 4x4 radius. Sometimes the coordinates given won't work, so dig around the area until it gives you a new step or your rewards.

Clue Scroll Chances

The chance of receiving a clue from a monster drop is calculated using the following formula:

1 / (100-combatLevel)

A Green dragon has a combat level of 79. Their chance for dropping a clue scroll is 1 / (100 - 79), or 1 / 21. Finishing a clue step has a 30% chance of giving a clue scroll instead of a reward.

3 / 10, or 30%

Therefore there is a 30% chance for a 2 step clue, a 9% chance for a 3 step clue, and so on.
