Barbarian
Barbarians are attackable NPCs found in the Barbarian Village and Outpost. They are commonly fought for training by lower level players due to their low Defence and the many obstacles in the Barbarian Village usable as Safespot. If the player chooses to talk to them, they will taunt the player with quotes such as "Wanna fight?" or "You come to fight, ja?" and immediately attack; players can avoid this by immediately exiting the dialogue instead of clicking to continue.
Gunthor the brave, a unique barbarian, is the strongest barbarian found in the village at level 29. Level 132 Lost barbarian and Confused barbarian variants can be found within the Ancient Cavern*.
